Accessing & Downloading Data

Much of the information available on T-STAT can be downloaded for later use.

If a document is available for downloading, an icon identifying the format appears with the document title.

 

These three icons represent documents that are available in Adobe PDF format:

This icon represents documents that are available for downloading in Microsoft Excel 5.0/95 workbook format:

You will need Excel to download documents identified by this icon.

This icon represents documents that are available for downloading in Microsoft Word 6.0/95 document format:

You will need Word to download documents identified by this icon.

HTML Documents

Even though some documents are not "identified" as downloadable, some tables that are available for viewing in .html can be downloaded and imported into Microsoft Excel 97/98. Follow these steps:
  • using your browser (Netscape, IE, etc.) open the .html page you wish to download
  • use the "save as" function to save the page to your disk as "source," or "source code"
  • exit your browser, start Microsoft Excel and open the "source, " or "source code" file you saved; the file should open into an Excel spreadsheet
  • save the file as a Microsoft Excel file
