The following links provide information from the first two cycles of the National Population Health Survey conducted in 1994/95 and 1996/97. The tables provide detailed information by age and gender for the Northwest Territories (excluding Nunavut) and Canada. Notes:

• Due to sampling variability results less than 500 from the 1994/95 cycle should be interpreted with caution. For the 1996/97 cycle, which had a smaller sample, results less than 1,000 should be approached cautiously.
• When comparing results from one year to the next users should be aware that slight changes may not be statistically significant. Users are urged to contact the NWT Bureau of Statistics for assistance in determining if observed changes can be considered statistically significant.
