Each quarter, the Bureau of Statistics publishes Northwest Territories population estimates based on figures provided by Statistics Canada. These Newstats releases include information on components of population change for the Northwest Territories (births, deaths, and migration) along with population figures for Canada, the Provinces and Territories.
Current population figures for April 1, 2008 were released on June 25, 2008. The Newstats related to this release is available for viewing or downloading:
