Jean Marie River

Jean Marie River is located at the confluence of the Mackenzie and Jean Marie Rivers at 61°32’N and 120°38’W, 302 air km southwest of Yellowknife.

A local man established an independent trading post in 1915 that operated for for many years, but was eventually replaced by the Hudson’s Bay Company store in 1964.
